Wok as a cooking technique is centuries old. Chinese master chefs have completely mastered the magic of the dangerous flames. Wok as a restaurant event is new and trendy, a truly interactive event in which you select the ingredients yourself and tell the chefs which sauce suits you best and thus creates your personal dish. Before you make an appearance at the wok fires, you have already been able to enjoy a soup and made a choice from a thick dozen hot and cold starters, including dim sums and sushi. Then you pass by the teppanyaki chef who prepares a delicious crispy piece of fish, chicken or meat for you. After the actual wok event, where you choose from about twenty ingredients, you can still go to the dessert buffet to fill in any holes.

We komen al jaren bij Wok Dynasty in Hasselt...

We komen al jaren bij Wok Dynasty in Hasselt maar de laatste keren is het niet meer hetzelfde. De kwaliteit van het eten laat soms aan de wensen over.. De green egg wordt niet meer gebruikt, zonde want dit vond ik een grote troef van het restaurant. Buffet om 19u zo goed als leeg en werd amper nog bijgevuld je moest het doen met wat er nog lag.. Pizza’s,stokbroodjes,inktvisringen,.. allemaal koud.. pannekoeken krulden omhoog (uitgedroogd) wafels steenhard.. voor ons niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar..
